When I chose Bristol to go to college, I had no idea how amazing this city actually was. Today, after two years spent in Bristol, I would recommend to people from all over the world to come and see it. Located in Bristol County, this town is by far the star of the region. Tourists visit Bristol and neighboring towns, including Weston-super-Mare, Bath, Chippenham and Swindon. I personally recommend that you several days aside just for Bristol. As for hotels, you can reserve a room at The Bristol Hotel (Prince Street) or at Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel (Welsh Back 5-7). When my family comes to visit, I hire one of those comfortable minibuses to takes all around the town. However, when I am alone in Bristol, I have grown accustomed to using a taxi cab, as it is quite affordable.
As I am crazy about animals, I often spend my weekends at the Bristol Zoo Gardens. My little sister enjoys the variety of species and the animal shows that are held on a regular basis. When she comes to Bristol, I also take her to the Botanic Garden. This is fun and educative at the same time; I like teaching her about different plants and flowers. I forgot to mention that she is in a wheelchair and that we prefer to use the wheelchair accessible taxi for transportation, as it is more comfortable and adapted to her needs.
Sometimes, my father comes to Bristol on business purposes. He prefers to hire one of those executive cars in advance, traveling between Bristol and Gatwick airport in style. He is glad to cover the 134 miles distance in just two hours and thirteen minutes, paying around £335. He likes to takes breaks from the road at Marriott Hotel (Pipers Way, Swindon) or Grange Bracknell Hotel (Charles Square, Bracknell). He also stops for meals at The Weighbridge Brewhouse (Penzance Drive, Swindon) or at Shahi Restaurant (8 Wildridings Road, Bracknell). For my travels between Bristol and Bristol airport, I prefer using a regular airport taxi. I reach the destination in 17’, covering a distance of 8 miles with an MPV+ car. And, best of all, I only pay £43 for this journey. Is that amazing or what?
